An accomplished executive with more than 20 years of domestic and international experience in strategic and operations management, also in uniquely challenging scenarios. Entrepreneurial, self motivated, results oriented with a strong track record of performance in turnaround and high paced organizations. He utilizes keen analysis and insights to drive organizational and procedural improvements. Over the years he has built a track record of increasing business and growing the bottom line while spearheading operational improvements  and restructuring to drive productivity and calibrate costs. An overall strong background in management, business planning, market research and funding advisory.
 
Through various business projects and exposure to compliance requirements and management of support teams in different industries, he has recognised the growing need for automated regulatory compliance and risk mitigation technology. A certified money laundering responsible officer and a fond advocate for academic and industry collaboration.

CHRISTIAN COLOMBO

Founder & CTO

An associate professor at the University of Malta (Computer Science, Faculty of ICT) with research interests in Runtime Verification, Security, Model-Based Testing and Compensating Transactions. While Dr Colombo is the author of various publications relating to runtime verification (or more widely known as real time monitoring), he was also involved at various levels in international research projects, including two ongoing ones: one funded by NATO and another through EU’s Horizon 2020, giving him exposure to industry and the possibility of addressing real-life problems through his participation and contributions to specialised and highly skilled expert teams.
 
Prof. Colombo has been involved in the design and implementation of several monitoring tools which have been validated both through academic experiments by the international research community and through industrial case studies. More recently, through the EU’s Horizon 2020 project Open Payments Ecosystem, he was directly involved in the provision of secure financial transactions through providing more flexibility to operators in the sector while adding extra security and peace of mind through real- time monitoring
